Thinking out of the box - Intuition

Explain shortly the meaning of the word Intuition, as you see it.

Throughout my personal observation, many people seem to associate 'intuition' with 'gut feeling' or that 'je ne sais quoi' (in French, a saying that literally translates to 'I don't know what') that gives them insight to a certain context/situation in consideration. Often times, 'intuition' is a concept recognized to be unsystematic, erratic, and elusive.

Personally, from my experience, 'intuition' is more closely linked to my conscience; my morality and values from deep within the Mature Self that subconsciously acknowledges what is truly right and wrong for me.
