If you are a swimmer in a round pool and there is a wolf located at the edge of the pool. The wolf is twice as fast as you. How can you escap the pool?

swim to 1/4 of the radius in cycle motion to buikd a gap between you and the wolf and then go straight to the edge.

1. Go to the center of the pool
2. Observe where the wolf is located
3. Run to the opposite edge from where the wolf is located

Example:

Pool Radius = 7 m

Swimmer Speed = 7 m/s

Wolf Speed = Swimmer Speed x 2 = 14 m/s

Wolf Distance to Opposite Edge = 2/2 x 22/7 x 7 = 22 m

Wolf Time to go to Opposite Edge = 22/14 = 1.57 s

Swimmer Time to go to Wolf Opposite Edge = 7/7 = 1 s

Time Difference = 1.57 - 1 = 0.57

Swimmer reach the opposite edge 0.57 s before the Wolf

the question here is --- "''How can you escap the pool? ''''' - not the wolf --- you are a swimmer andd you can easily do that !!!!

just get out of the pool, that's how you escape , get out. Who cares if the wolf is twice as fast , the question was how can you escape the pool, you get out by pulling yourself up and moving your body over the edge of the pool.

Go 1/4 the distance along the radius, by that time wolf might have reached half the way along the radius. Now take a deep breath, swim from inside the water and bypass the wolf under the water and reach the edge.
