Please explain what are the various testing scenarios that you would do for a new cellular phone application

Go through detailed design and design the casual scenarios with different inputs and entery points. After that, try to think of exceptional cases of which the "product" might meet it's boundries and test them.

Use emulators to test your mobile application cross platform but try it on native devices as well to avoid surprises
