Selling skills

While at a junior level it is asked about the career interest and people answer that , he.she is interested in marketing?

It is also observed one is expected to demonstrate the same skill set like selling skills etc.

It is observed that people start with a product selling mode rather than a concept selling. Qualified people start selling like a non qualified with out realizing that they are creating a stupid impression.

Example : Selling Pen: People start selling the pen in real sense like it write, it is cheap etc......which is funny.

The second important thing here is one is expected to sell large numbers rather than selling one pen to an individual which rarely happens.
