Logic question - systems administrator

You're new to the job, and every day you get an email with a report, then one day you don't.
How will you approach to the problem and solve it ?

I would do my best to determine who the project manager was for the project related to the report in question. There may be some sort of organizational chart with this information. The project manager should be able to direct me to the appropriate resource, either a lead developer, system administrator, or an issue tracker of some sort.

This can be a bit of a tricky question. Some things to ask are what did the report contain? do I need the report? Could we do without the report? Do other get the report? Do they need the report?
