Where do you see yourself in five years?

A good answer may depend on how much research you did about the company and your career goals. It can be along the lines of "I would like to be heading a team in charge of new product development," "I would like to be a subject matter expert," or any other goal.

This question was also asked at HCA (USA Company).

An answer that indicates that the candidate has set goals and made plans for the future. It would also be appropriate to mention that it is difficult to predict what may happen in 5 years, but that's not a substitute for an answer.

There is no right answer you only have to be true and show that you have goals. I think the question is asked for the interviewer has some idea of the candidate's ideas. If you answer "in the next 5 years I will be doing the same", maybe the interviewer can speculate that you are not interested in learning.
