Some one from my junior tries to overshadow me

Lets say if some one from my junior tries to overshadow me, may be due to any technical or communication, then what should I do?

The other person(s) lets take both the cases,is lower according to my position;
other case, is senior in company on the basis of time spent by him/her in the company. And he/she just tries to outshine the user by taking all the credit to him/her.

This is totally up to you (overshadow),i have observed like if you really have caliber then this thought will never come in your mind it self.

I totally agree with the replay above this one and also I'd like to add that if someone is doing an execllent job while you are his manager = you have reached your goal! credit him - send good vibes to him, give him a raise - maybe the others will be motivated as well. put your success on your team success. you should be worried to be good and not to apear good.

I want to help, but I don't fully understand the question. Is this question about a person who takes all the credit for a project when all credit isn't due to them?

Who is it specifically that he takes the credit too or does anyone actually give him credit?

If you could give me a specific example of a time when this happened, I can likely help you. I don't want to write a few paragraphs on the topic, but not help you because I don't fully understand the scenario.

One suggestion is to talk to the person face-to-face and let them know how you're feeling - have specific examples. Don't be emotional, just sincere, open, and honest.
