synchronize clients according the server

You have several clients that uses the same server services .

You would like to inform all the clients that the server has given an order or something has happend.

How can you get the all the clients to know that something has updates in the server ?

I've answered using a database and all the clients can check every x time , to see if something was updated.
You can also use any other file , like text file , xml etc and the if the details has changed.
